My friend from my home town sent me this article about our airport. My favorite parts were the Butt-Rub (of course), the clarification of where the shell was picked up, and the fact that the White House situation room was notified.

It was honey, "butt-rub" that closed airport: Screeners mistake food bag for bomb
By C.E. Scott DEMOCRAT STAFF WRITER

A food writer carrying a bag with a jar of tupelo honey, a package of "Bad Byron's Butt Rub" and an oyster shell triggered a bomb scare that prompted the evacuation of Tallahassee Regional Airport on Monday.

"I was here for the weekend doing a story on food in Apalachicola," said Todd Coleman, 32, a writer for Saveur magazine who was detained for about five hours after security personnel thought they had discovered a "suspicious package" about 6:45 a.m. Monday.

Quinten Johnson, Transportation Safety Administration director at the airport, said the items - along with a digital video and audio recorder - wound up being arranged in Coleman's cloth bag in a configuration that resembled an explosive device.

Coleman said the honey was in a jar and the "Butt Rub" - a combination of barbecue spices - was in a package. He said he picked up the oyster shell during a stop on a highway.

Coleman's bag was being X-rayed at the passenger-gate screening facility when the alert occurred, Johnson said.

Security screeners, Tallahassee police officers and members of the department's bomb squad agreed the contents of the bag looked suspicious, he said.

About 470 passengers and visitors were moved outside the airport before 8 a.m., Johnson said, while a robot removed the bag, placing it in a steel container.

Johnson also said the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the White House situation room were notified about the incident.

The bag was examined at a remote location and determined to be harmless, Johnson said.

Officials said no charges would be filed against Coleman, who planned to take an afternoon flight home to Brooklyn, N.Y.

The airport was reopened about 9 a.m. to passengers, and flights resumed about 10 a.m., said David Pollard, airport superintendent of operations.

Pollard said six morning flights were canceled and seven were delayed. He said he did not know how many airport or airline personnel were evacuated to buses waiting outside the terminal that also held passengers.

Angela Colletti, a Tallahassee resident who had a Delta Air Lines flight to Miami, said she didn't mind being among those forced to leave the airport.

"It's not Delta's fault; it's not the airport's fault," she said, adding that it was "better to be safe than sorry."

Johnson said this is the first time since the 2001 terrorist attacks that the airport has been evacuated because of a bomb scare.

Ohhhh...BUTT-rub.
I thought I read WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION.
Cuz butt-rub and WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION are pretty close.

At least they didn't get stopped because of a strange buzzing noise coming from her suitcase. I'll give you three guesses as to what that was...
