My name is Amy and I have a problem... an Icon Problem.
Sorry, you asked me how to do this ages ago and I totally forgot. You need to go to www.photobucket.com, and sign up for a FREE account. There should be a tutorial on there, but I'll walk you through it :-) You do a browse/upload thingy where it tells you. Basically, the same deal as when you open a file or save something on your computer. You look through the files on your comp, click it, and hit upload. When you have everything you want uploaded (you can do up to 19 at a time I believe), you find where it says Select All, and click that. All your uploaded pics should be checked. Then you scroll down to the bottom of the page and there should be a button that says "Generate HTML code". Click it. You'll be taken to a page with a bunch of boxes with code in them. Choose the one that says HTML images for Livejournal, Myspace, etc. NOT clickable thumbnails. Here's the tricky part. You can copy and paste this into an LJ post anf it will appear as one, centered icon per line. So you'll have a vertical line of icons. If you want to get fancy and manipulate the code, you can make them look like mine do (in the rows of 4 or 5 with numbers between them). To do this, I recommend pasting the code you copy from Photobucket into a Word document. This is how I do all mine. After each picture you'll see a couple of s between them. (br's in between <>s) These are breaks. In order to get several userpics in a row, you just take out these breaks and get the <>s for each userpic right up next to each other. If you want numbers between them, just replace the

with whatever number you want (01. for example), but make sure and delete any extra spaces between the numbers and the pics. I wouldn't do more than 5 in a row. To make a new row, just leave the breaks in.

Good luck. Lemme know if this works. Feel free to blame me if anything fouls up, too! It takes a couple of posts to get it the way you want it.

So, I can't put the code for a break in here, because, well, it turns INTO code. So... breaks are br between <>s. You'll know them when you see them. Lemme know if you get stuck!

Hey! THANK YOU - I will go there now and see what damage I can do.

I'm glad to hear from you. I was worried about you. I had noticed that you hadn't posted in a while and wondered if something was up but I knew you had some major projects (math units from hell) you were working on so I thought it was that.

anyway - i wanted to let you know i was thinking about you and am sending postivie thoughs and energy your way.
