Hoodwinked was Actually Really Quite Good!

I know it got some "D"s in some of the magazines but we thought it was really funny. We left the theatre doing impressions and quoting lines. Heck, there was even a Monty Python reference!!! John, being a graphic artists snob, trashed the 3D rendering, but I didn't think it was that horrible. It's better than a Bugs Bunny cartoon, and i still watch those. I don't want to say much about the story for the sakes of those who might see it - but it had a lot of oringiality i think. I may have immediately figured out the bad guy, but there were several points that surprised me. AND THE GOAT WAS HYSTERICAL. I want the soundtrack. i want switchoutable horns. and i want to see it again.

PLUS the previews showed a movie made by the people that do the Fairly Odd Parents with some AMAZING actors. (I can't for the life of me remember the name, but a dog is going on a Lord of the Rings adventure and Jon Stewart and Ian McKellen). I can't find it on IMDB but it's supposed to be coming out Feb 24th.

Sarah I miss you :)
You & Kenton were totally on the couch for the movie and dinner.

Look at the really cool Eddie Izzard icon I found! Though i was sick today, i was still fairly productive. i have five items on my list yet, but it's still farily early. Plus I did stuff not on my list. Two loads of laundry done & folded & put away, daisy stuff put in and on my car though one blew away, most of the Christmas boxes are FINALLY put in the attic, grocery shopping for dinner tomorrow, read some of my book, and started on organizing the Alice room but I need to buy some shelves, picked out some clothes to donate to charity, made tea for tomorrow. Guess i should get off this and get started on sweeping and cleaning the bathroom. i am stalling on doing the taxes :(

I want to see it...

we vetoed cause of the bad ratings, but what we ended up seeing was much worse. Blood Rayne... we should have known.

Anyways, thanks to you, maybe now I have bargaining power... :-)

i've never even heard of Blood Rayne. it sounds like a horrible 1980's movie or something on the scifi channel!!

if you see hoodwinked let me know what you think of it! all five of us were so happy with it :) i hope you like it.

Hoodwinked didn't really work for me, though the friends I was with loved it.

I think the movie has to do with "The magic Roundabout," an old British TV puppet series. Dougall was the dog.It does look oddly appealing.

YES!! It was Doogall. and it looked darling. i've never heard of the magic roundabout but that sounds like it would be cute. so long as they were puppet and not marionettes. those scare me!
