Go Look at Our Gingerbread Men!!!

Oh yeah - we had our annual gingerbread decorating party. It was different from the usual. Not as many people actually decorated gingerbread men this year because John hooked up a video camera and rigged it so that we could conference with Kenton in Alaska in real time!!! So people who normally make excellent and beautiful gingerbread-men (unlike mine!!) were instead chatting with Kenton. It was really cool - I was so happy they were able to do that because this was the first time in months Sarah got to see him. She was sooooo cute - she spent a lot of time just smiling into the monitor not even saying anything. Everyone was excited about getting to see/talk to him. Kenton usually does the apple cider for the party so we missed him. (Okay, we just missed him - with or without cider.) This way he got to attend the party, too. Which made it a good party :)

We did decorate a few gingerbread men and Rhonda did an AMAZING Calvin and Hobbes snowmen scene. disbandedtoastr put up some pictures of the gingerbread on her site. For the record - time lords have two hearts. That's what I was trying portray when I did the Christopher Eccleston gingerbread man. They are not boobs. They are clearly and obviously HEARTS. And, yes, that was supposed to be Brave Heart in the first picture. The little chocolate chips were supposed to be the plaid tartan patton in his kilt. And no, I've never seen the movie.

Aww, the Doctor looks so happy! Okay, so that's Rose on his left and Mickey below, maybe, but who's on his right? Jackie?

yes - that was Mickey!! Juli will be so happy to know he was recognized. And Lori did a fantastic Rose. The other was Colin Baker and his amazing coat of many colors. Perhaps I should have given him two hearts, too. I am the worst gingerbread decorator. But I think I will claim Colin as Jackie as it fits the group shot.

We also did a terrible Peter Davidson but didn't get a picture of him.

Well, I might've recognised Peter Davison if you stuck some celery on him. As for Colin... whoops for thinking he was Jackie *sniggers*

Well, I'm glad I got dubbed as cute instead of silly, or goffy, or dorky. I couldn't think of anything I wanted to say, it was so wonderful to see him. I had to keep telling myself not to jumo up and hug the computer. Danke, danke danke danke
