Holy Smokes - time condenses this time of year.

We haven't even enjoyed Thanksgiving yet, and I'm already wondering if I will have time to get all my Christmas stuff together.

I hope I manage Christmas cards this year. If you want a card let me know - I'll give you my email address so that you can send me your mailing address. :D If anyone wants to write my Holiday Newsletter for me to help save me some time, let me know that, too. I'm okay with whatever you want to say I did these last 12 months.

This Sunday Monkeys has caved in and agreed to letting me start putting up Christmas decorations (gasp BEFORE THANKSGIVING). He's vehemently against setting-up Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving, and I do agree with him, but this year has my 40th birthday, Gingerbread party (I hope), several Church functions, the normal crazy work stress of graduation/registration/bachelors admissions, etc. So in light of that he's letting us get a head start. Plus, I would really like to visit friends and family some this year. I haven't gone up to Alabama to visit my mom's family in a year or more. So, time is even more precious this year - which necessitates drastic action. Dun dun dun. The idea is that if people are over on the Saturday before Thanksgiving then they won't be over again until after Thanksgiving, so if we put the tree up on Sunday and maybe decorate the mantel, then no one will see it but us - aaaaaaaaaaand we just won't enjoy them until after T-giving. :D Tada! Plan formed.

I'm all about Christmas this year too. I've been listening to Christmas songs on the raido for the past two weeks (Sunny 98.5)
and I'm already very much in the Christmas spirit!!
I'd be happy to help you decorate if ya want!

heck yeah! you can help me decorate the tree if you want! you know what you'd be in for. :D
maybe come over a bit before the Rosary??
you can give us a call Sunday or we can call you after Monkeys gets the tree and lights up - he's in charge of that bit.

I asked Monkeys again about Potter. Whether or not he feels up for it - I'm up for it if you are okay with just me. :D (He's 50/50 right now. He's tired tonight, so he won't commit - but who knows how he'll be feeling on Friday, you know?)

Meanwhile - I found my wizard hat. :D

I always want a Christmas card! Especially since this is the first time I've checked LJ in months, so your newsletter will actually be news to me this year.

Fair warning: I probably won't bother with a letter this year, as I literally cannot think of a single thing to report.

Yay! I should have your address already.
I am not sure how interesting my letter will be (other than the Texas trip) - but if nothing else I will draw some happy stick figures in there. :D :D

I'll help!
"I spent the first couple of months this year laying the groundwork for Aung Suun Kii to be released in Myanmar. March was unremarkable except when they flew me to Paris to deactivate a rogue nuclear power plan. April, I stopped Texas from seceding from the Union; in May I finally proved Shakespeare wrote all of Francis Bacon's essays."

I don't know that I could possibly love you any more than I do right now.
