just curious

Hey peoples - I want some inspiration. What words/images come to mind for the word Saturday?

Can you tell I'm really looking forward to this week being over?

For that matter, what words or images do you think of for each of the days of the week?

OH - Toaster - I just saw a Jackie Chan commercial for a movie called "the spy next door" or something along those lines. He's playing a baby sitter?

Yeah, I saw that too. <3!!!
Well, actually, I've caught bits and peices of it here and there... so I don't know what it's actually about, but hey... jackie chan!! I just hope it's not another "Tuxedo". *shudder*

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee - it has Tuxedo potential.
but the commercial i saw also had a Pacifier vibe, and that's one of my favorite Vin Diesel movies, so maybe it'll be okay. i'll probably support him regardless.

that's what i was gonna say, it looks along the lines of "kindergarten cop" and "kindergarten cop 2: the pacifier" - i haven't seen pacifier yet, but would like to and i LOVE kindergarten cop (but then again i'm a big schwarzenegger fan and even like his bad movies :P)

speaking of, american's abbreviate his name to "arnie" ... where as germans call em "schwarzy" (which means blacky) - just something that occurred to me last time i heard his last name butchered

You want to watch the Pacifier?!!?!? Just say the word!! I really liked that movie. I even like it more than Kindergarten Cop - but that's probably just leftover from my crush on Vin Diesel.

Funny about the Arnie nick name.
Did you hear Hugh Jackman make the Arnold joke at the People's Choice Awards? I don't remember it exactly, but there was a bit about Jackman saying he was foreign born, winner of an action hero award, and ???something else????? so his next step was governor of California.

Hmmm... saturday.... in what context? Like a "1920's" thing for the church murder myster, or do you mean saturday in general? Like saturday gathering?

When I think of the weekend, I think of my pillow, cuz I get to sleep in late. Woot!

i was being a little vague so as not to influence people. but someone made a cute set of simple but cute icons for each day of the week with little graphic images here and I thought it would be nice to have one for Saturdays, Mondays, and Fridays. Or at least for Saturdays.

For me, I think of Saturday night gatherings, so I was thinking maybe a simple little movie projector since we often watch movies. But that's only cuz I can't seem to think of anything else. My brain is pretty tired.

Oh - and Monkeys wants to know what to wear for the murder mystery and where to meet us. He's probably going to arrive separately because he doesn't want to go to mass. (I'm hoping to get home in time to go to mass, too, so I should already be there - but I'm not sure I'm brave enough to wear my flapper dress to mass, so I'll have that in the car and hopefully change into it afterwards if there is time.)

Saturday is definitely family or love.

Wednesday I always think of as hump day. Although for me I kinda think of it like the very tip of a rollercoster. You made it that far... the rest of the ride is easier.

I don't really think much about the rest of the week.

I like the roller*coaster idea!! Cool!! :) I think I could even find some images for that.

And Saturday really is family night, but I don't know what kind of images for that.

The only thing I can think of is people around a table or sitting on a couch. (Or in our case... maybe many people playing arcade games.
