My Husband is FAMOUS

Okay, so I posted before about how my husband was in a bumper on Adult Swim because at Dragoncon the creatures of the Venture Brothers so loved his Jonas Venture Jr. costume they asked Monkeys to pose for pictures with *them* instead of Monkeys asking them to pose with them. They even used their own cameras.

Well, last night we were watching the shows with commentary AND THEY MENTIONED HIM IN THE COMMENTARY! Not by name, of course. But they said something like "the most amazing Jonas Venture Junior costume" as they were naming the costumes that impressed them at the con. :) :) :)

My husband so rocks!

(Also, Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick so rock. They are the sweetest guys; I love listening to their commentary because they really like their fans and appreciate what the fans do. And they are quite humble, too. They talked about Dragoncon a lot in the commentary. Now I'm all pumped up and ready for September!!)

Something like that happened to me, kent, todd and Matt once. We went to see Tori Amos in concert and brought her Crispy Creme Doughnuts. (She loves then and didn't have them where she lived) We left them on the stage while she sang. (Yeah, they actually let us do that.) I was watching an interview with her about a year later, while she was talking about some things her fans had left her she mentioned that one of her favorite were when someone left her doughnuts. I guess it's possible that someone else did it and she never got ours.... but still.

That's awesome!!! (And it's cool they let you leave them on the stage in the first place, too.)

I love being able to say thank you to someone who made a happy impact on my life (musicians, actors), and I love it even more when celebrities actually appreciate the thank yous and seem to appreciate us as people. It is a symbiotic relationship, even if it is a bit uneven - more of us than them.

I hope you understand what I mean cuz I can't figure out how to say what I want to say!!

AND Matt just showed up so I want to jump up and hug him! :) So I can't figure out a way to edit it better even if I did know how to say it! LOL!

HUGS TO YOU, TOO!!!! Wish you were here!

We should start sending you the videos we end up watching so that you have a hand in some of the stupidity around here...

Last night my favorite things we watched were a sock puppet theatre episode and two AWESOME commercials for "trimming a bush" - one from England and one from France which I totally want for my iPod. I can't really remember the other stuff - some anime music videos. Oh - Charlie the Unicorn 3 !!! And some music Kenton would probably really like - Bohemian Rhapsady and Still Alive played on old scanners and oscilliscopes.

Weirdly enough, while you guys were probably watching that video with the Oscilliscopes... we actually found on for sale at a antique place.
