OOTS and 001s

I'm on #122 on Order of the Stick. That guy is brilliant. I'm afraid to check on how many there are, though I'm not sure if that's because I'm afraid there are 5 billion of them and I'll never finish or because I'm afraid there are only 124 of them and it'll be over all too soon. Regardless, it's seriously making me miss our Quest games. Heck, it's even making me miss our ADDADD games.

BANJO the Clown God of Puppets!!!!
That's as good as Jeff the God of Biscuits.
They wouldn't let my Cleric serve Jeff, but maybe I have a shot at Banjo...

I did my first assignment in our programming class. (I have a funny story about my programming class.) I had to write a series of instructions for a person so that they could pick the greatest of three given numbers. This stuff is hard! My first two attempts at a solution SUCKED and taught me that I am 1) not patient, 2) not logical, and 3) not a programmer. Thank goodness Kristen is. She didn't tell me how to fix my instructions, but when she told me where she stalled out I was able to figure out not only my own mistake but a HUGE hole in my reasoning that even she didn't see. After a few more attempts, I came up with something that worked, earning a compliment and three right answers in row from Kristen.

The funny story. Our in-person class was cancelled, so we switched to the distance learning version. Monkeys went to the distance learning orientation on Saturday, but I had another meeting, so he gave her my apologies and picked up my paperwork. She told him she knew who I was. I was the person who walked around the C building during my lunch hour. For the past year or two I have been making circular laps or figure eights around the building. I had cleared it with the head of the business division because sometimes there were classes going on, and I did make an effort to not loop as much when I saw a classroom with students. I was not always successful with this, and apparently in previous semesters our instructor had giving out a homework assignment where her students had to write an algorithm based on the number of times I passed by their window!! I was embarrassed and honored all at once.

I seriously LOVE OOTS. I would love to make a costume of the shadow thing. Specially when it has the hello kitty umbrella. =o)

There isn't a million of them... do you want to know how many of them there are? Hmmm.. can I do a lj cut in a comment? I think I'll give it a try. If you want to know how many OOTS there are,
The most recent strip is number ....

There did that work??
Nope. Can't do LJ cuts in the comment section.
If you dont' wanna know how many strips there are, DON'T read the first comment email from me!
But, I'm sure it came in first, so you've probably already read it.
Doh! Sorry!

I was bizarrely proud once I made sure I didn't disturb the class. :)

I've been thinking about the leaves, but haven't had a chance to email you! My leaves are done with raku, so they are brownish but also a bit metallic, too. Woot! They would fit in with your color scheme... :) :) :)

Order of the Stick is awesome, especially when it really starts having a proper plot and being serious.
