Miss you Sarah!!

Love the messages!! Cannot wait until you *and* Kwix can come and visit again. John was talking today about trying to get to AK in the spring as a kind of "anniversary trip" for us - so probably some time in early early April or the end of March. We'll need advice!

Moose pictures shall be posted... Oh, and I'm drinking moose coffee right now. :)

Oh, and I'm drinking moose coffee right now.

I'm fairly certain I don't want to know . . .

I am about to head into the kitchen to make myself the last cup of Moose coffee. Just wanted to keep you updated.

I am going hoping to post some pictures and poems from the Hitchhikers Bday party in the next few days. I wanted to thank you again for the suggestions. I think you would have fit in and enjoyed yourself had you been able to attend. :)

Lol! He he.... I leave Bec notes every time I visit. Kenton said there is usually still snow a bit on April. Of course you never tell for sure. Sometime Spring comes early. We can still see pretty things then if you still want to come then. :D

I liked the snow in WI in December. Maybe AK will be like that. If so, I can handle it. We didn't really do a lot of driving, but we hung out a lot at the house playing games, and we did hike around their big yard and pond to play in the snow. :)

Sill, if we are going to AK, I would like to be able to see as much of it as I can. Hmmmm. How about June?

I love the snow in AK.... But I'm weird like that. We'd still still drive you around even in the snow.

June is lovely. Or I think it is. Pretty clear, not TOO chilly. Lot's a of tourist but hey... what can you expect?

it's weird because I have to work around registration, so I have my own version of "black out dates".

I'm used to tourists! we have them here! I'll kind of be one, too. Although, if it's tourist season it'll mean the prices are probably higher. We'll have to do a pro/con thing. Do you think we'd be able to see a lot of scenery in April despite the potential snow?

What's the best season in AK where you can run up to strangers and ask them "Do you know how many people died in the Goulag?"?

I bet it's summer, that's when I'd like to visit.

How far into the Rosetta Stone lessons do you have to get to work up to that phrase?

ein Junge ein Mädchen ein Mann eine Frau ein Flugzeug eine Ball ein Auto eine tische ein Goulag

Wissen Sie, wieviele Leute im Goulag starben?

Sep. 15th, 2008 02:49 am (UTC)
LOL!!! You made Imran translate that didn't you??

So far there has been no mention of of the Goulag yet in the Rosetta Stone.

Although all the rest is in the first "lesson" grouping. (Not the super fast second)

I'm a loser - I used babelfish for the phrase! LOL!

I did love the little bit we went through in Rosetta Stone, though. I am going to try to work on it, even if I can't afford R.S. right away. :)

Yep.. summer. That's when there are the most people and the most homeless.
