While packing, I just watched one of the Peter Cushing Doctor Who movies. Interesting.

Okay, on to laundry. Weather is okay so far. I'm sad they cancelled the orientations for the college because I could have driven in this weather. TS Fay is moving soooooooo slowly we probably won't get anything bad until tonight or tomorrow. We have steady rain right now, but it's still sunny and rather pretty in its own way. My best friend in Tally said they lost power from yesterday evening until this morning, and they were still having some electrical issues, but overall it's not been terrible. I'm trying to get all my laundry done while we have power just in case we lose ours later tonight.

Hey, wouldn't it be cool to have a Tropical Storm named Elliot?

You should know from living there that parts of Tallahassee lose power when someone sneezes at the wrong place. It's the price they pay for all the gorgeous canopy roads roofed with all the beautiful live oaks.

Woohoo! Tropical-half-assed storm!

Good luck on getting your laundry laundered!

I miss the canopy roads!!!! Sigh.

I had a brainy moment and went online to pay credit card bills prior to DC as both come due while we are in ATL. :) Go me!

Monkeys printed out copies of The Many Deaths of Ensign Dunfor to give away to Takei, Hagland, and Gary Jones (should he be there). He's so cute! He's over at the table working on Jonus Venture. We were at Lowe's earlier today buying paint and velcro.

Did you know Joel and Trace and TV's Frank will be there?!?! We're brining some stuff that Mike Nelson and Kevin Murphy signed from when they were there a few years ago. :)
