We have switched out of Cinema Appreciation to Computer Programming & Logic. Somehow, this is not as exciting for me... I just found out my church class will meet on Thursday nights, however, so we had to pick a different college class so as not to conflict. Monkeys ultimately wants to take a Java programming class, so we are now doing its prerequisite distance learning. On the bright side, it means we won't miss any classes going to Dragoncon. On the down side... I'm taking a programming class distance learning. This enrollment does not bode well for me.

I am looking forward still to Tap. At least that doesn't conflict. I've been reading A Concise History of the Catholic Church as a kind of preview for the church class. At 603 pages, it does not seem very concise. I would hate to have a copy of the Really Rather Verbose and Wordy History of the Catholic Church.

The fact that I actually pondered for about a minute over whether to use my Izzard Technophobe icon, my St. Michael the Archangel icon, or the College icon I stole from tennich worries me a bit.

OMG and after watching the Foxtrot to Feeling Good on So You Think You Can Dance I want to delete everything and use my Waltz icon and rave about how amazing all four finalists are. Wow. But the lift in that Foxtrot may be the highlight of the night for me.

EDIT - I want a sonic mallet.

Oh.... my.

Random babbling?? Or the Sonic Mallet request? I saw someone use the term over on NostaljaLJ's last post and thought it was a brilliant idea. (She said Donna would have one.)

Oh the dancers are in kilts running around the stage now. I'm going to have to rush Monkeys off the phone so that i can call and vote for Joshua (even thought Twitch may have outdanced him over all tonight, the parts he did better were really impressive...)

I was referring my MY tendency to babble, not accusing you of babbling. Hope that came across.

And because I can... My St. Michael icon. (I'm about to dive back into my book now that my show is over.)

Hun, if i post another comment I can use my college icon and have all of them represented.

How are you?

Good gravy, I just reread this (I posted it quickly because I was focused on getting to a phone) and it looks like it was typed by monkeys. (Not Monkeys, but lowercase "m" monkeys. Capital "M" Monkeys's would be better written thanks to the Writing and Grammar class...)

It should have been more like
Oh, the dancers are in kilts and are running around the stage now. I'm going to have to rush Monkeys off the phone so that I can call and vote for Joshua. (Even though I thought Twitch's overall performance may have out-danced Joshua's, the parts that Joshua did better were really impressive, and he won me over.

Not that it matters, and it's still not Shakespeare - but look, I get to use my College icon now. Huzzah!

*laughing at all the rest of this*

You delight me, my friend.

I was sympathizing with your decision to take a distance-learning programming course.

And of COURSE Donna has a sonic mallet. She bloody well should.

You delight me as well :) :)
Ahhh, yes. And come to think of it, a sonic mallet might be *exactly* what I need for a distance learning programming class...

(Tonight I am doing my best to mimic the whole 100 Monkeys in a Room Will Eventually Type the Complete Works of Shakespeare theory. I am going bazonkers with the typing. Maybe I should drink less coffee. I'm going to go take a shower and get away from the comfy chair that sits all too conveniently close to my laptop...)

::high-pitched falsetto::
I tried to find an expurgated version of the Really Rather Verbose and Wordy History of the Catholic Church... the one without the Enlightenment. I know, I know, it's a standard Catholic period of history, the Enlightenment, it's in all the Really Rather Verbose and Wordy History of the Catholic Churches.

Ethel the Aardvark Goes Quantity Surveying in Rome (the revised and updated edition)
I have the Revised Edition (of A Concise History of the Catholic Church) by Thomas Bokenkotter.

I was looking for the edition by Tomas Bokkenkoter but that guy at the bookshop had *nothing* I asked for and kept going on about Aardvarks.
