Holiday Door Competition - 2010 - Star Trek

I still need to post the poem I wrote for the door. It's a Star Trek version of A Visit From Saint Nick. I'm hoping to wear my Star Trek red shirt on the day they do the door judging, but my costume closet is hidden behind a million billion Christmas decoration boxes.

The Full Door The Full Door
This may be my favorite door so far, if only because it seems to have the cleanest lines.
Top of the Door (with the Spanish Inquisition coming around the back) Top of the Door (with the Spanish Inquisition coming around the back)
When I first started and only had the star wrapping paper background and the dark blue front piece with "Happy Christmas" someone came by my door and said, "is that the Star Trek font!?!??" I was really reassured! If just the font was recognizable than that seemed to bode well for the rest of the decorations.
Away Team Delivering Presents Away Team Delivering Presents
The gift bag Kirk is carrying is 3D! (Okay, this is actually very shoddily made - all chopped up with tape everywhere - but I love it anyway.) I'm now thinking about making the planets into Christmas tree ornaments.
Tractor Beam Tractor Beam
Monkeys doesn't like the angle of this shot because it makes the ship look so much smaller than the sled - LOL! The tractor beam is holographic!! It's shiny Christmas wrapping paper with candy canes and drums and holiday stuff. (Many of the presents were cut from the Hanukkah wrapping paper. One was from a birthday card Toaster/Droidgirl/Mike gave me.)

I'm trying to decide if I want to cut my tinsel. I don't want to cut it, because it's used around the house for regular decorations, not just for this door.
Spock wishes you a Happy Hanukkah Spock wishes you a Happy Hanukkah
I used stars for the flames on the candles. I hope that's not offensive! I swear I heard Nimoy in an interview once explain that the Vulcan salute came from a Jewish religious service, so I was really excited about using it for my door.

Thanks!! I still have to post the poem I wrote for the door. The rhythm isn't as perfect as I would like, but I'm still pleased with it. (I wasn't willing to sacrifice Orion Slave Girls dancing in ensigns' heads to make the meter work...)
