I got to play with my godson today!! My friend came up for lunch on the perfect day. Weather was lovely, so we walked to the cafeteria. Best of all, my bosses were both out. While they probably wouldn’t have cared that I had someone in my office for an hour after lunch since I’m actually caught up and Fridays are very slow days – it was nice knowing they weren’t even here to notice and not care. On the down side, they both love babies, so they would have probably enjoyed getting to hold him for a little bit. Meanwhile three of my coworkers picked up the slack and cooed and cuddled him.

He is sooooooo cute! He’ll be six months old this month, and he’s already pretty much doubled in size in that time. He’s also one of the happiest babies I have ever seen. He smiled and giggled pretty much the entire time and even made a few happy squeals. He’s also really curious, so he was trying to pick up things and look at things. Shiny, smart, inquisitive blue eyes that just beamed!

Anyway - I'm tired. I ought to be cleaning or something as there's no shortage of things to do around here.
